Kids of today are so talented. This guitar playing surfer is not only athletic but he has an outstanding heart to match. He is a leader amongst his peers and recently organized a charitable event for Autism! The sky is the limit for this one.

It was such a beautiful day at La Jolla Shores yesterday. Just before we started shooting the sun came out from behind the clouds. The sound of the waves made for a very fun and relaxing "To Cool For School" senior photo session. Thanks Loretta for being my assistant for the day.

Here is a sneak peek to a "Too Cool for School"
session from yesterday. We went to Old Poway Park, one of my fav spots to shoot for a more rustic feel.

We had a couple on-lookers with one guy who had to come by a few times just to say "Hi." Kinda creepy. Overall it was a beautiful day.

Oh and thanks mom for holding the reflector.

Photo Booth

I am so excited to add a new service to the Crea Collection. A Photo Booth!! It started off as something to do for an event for church, but the more I learned about it the more excited I got about offering it as part of my services. We will use it tonight for the first time. I'll be sure to post some photos.

I still need to build the cabinet for the booth but I found some great Photo Booth props and made a few of my own. You will be hearing much more about it. Next I will be building a website just for the Photo Booth Rental and linking it to my website.

building a web crawler friendly site is driving me crazy!

Oh Holly Cow!!

Some of you will understand, but building a web crawler friendly site is driving me crazy!

So I have been re-designing my website to be more search engine friendly and I am so glad to be just about done. Not to say that it was hard, but just time consuming. Tagging every little thing, using the right keywords, correcting the meta data, capitalize here but not there, show this but hide this, put this info here and in what order, header text, not over saturating, will google let me do this or will they kick out the site all together. If you are paying someone to do your SEO, let me tell you, it is well worth the money. That is if they know what they are doing.

All an all it will be good. The new site will not have flash on the home page so iPhones and iPads will like it as well as it will load faster for some people. I am also including an "Events" section so that when I photograph an event, say a Best Buddie's party or company event, all those who attend will be able to go online and see the photos from that event and download a digital file. Fun right? Also, the photos from past sessions will be available, so my clients can go back and order the additional copies for grandma that they forgot to get the first time around.

I am truly enjoying what I do. I get to share special moments with wonderful people. Gigi is one of my good friends. I am so excited for her family and can't wait to see the little guy.
